Pint Size/Accessorize

Spring is a great time to clear out the closets and start fresh!  I don't do such a great job with my own closets, however I constantly pick through the boys, weeding out stained and outgrown clothes.  It gets out of control so quickly.  In case you were wondering,  my system goes like this.  Jake is the oldest and has the biggest closet and a barely used dresser.  I store all of my clearance finds for both boys in his dresser throughout the year and fill in when needed.  When I clean out Jake's closet, anything that still looks great goes across the hall to Sam's room and everything else goes in the Goodwill bin.  Sam's a little tighter on space.  Probably because I have a Goodwill bin and a storage bin jammed into the closet. After Sam is done with the clothes, the ones in good shape get put in a storage bin and when the bin is full it goes in the basement waiting for AJ (the baby).  When the Goodwill bag is full it gets delivered.  I'm pretty diligent so their closets are always well kept.  I love shopping for the boys.  I maintain that a simple outfit and accessories are the way to go!  Here are some of my favorites this season!

My shopping list for the boys include new tennies, crocs (delivered via the Easter bunny), one character t-shirt each also delivered via the Easter bunny because they're not my favorite.  Converse style shoes for church and dress up (instead of investing in brown leather sandals).  Madras plaid shorts and solid V-neck T's.  Canvas belts, I just picked up two at a resale shop, one neutral and one navy with red crabs.  Lots of jersey shorts and sleeveless T's (basketball style) for play and that's about it.  We just picked up some awesome white framed sunglasses a la Will I Am (Black Eyed Peas).  They'll make any outfit look really cool!  I'll post a pic soon.

I find myself doing a lot of shopping in Spring and Fall.  That's when I stock up on shoes, socks, t-shirts, pajamas, and almost everything else.  I just fill in a few pieces here in there during the Winter and Summer months such as bathing suits and sweaters.
