I asked a friend the other day what her ideas were for Christmas gifts for her kids. She said a cardboard playhouse from Land of Nod. Of course I've seen cardboard playhouses, they're everywhere, however until I saw the cafe one above on Design Mom, I had no idea how far they've come. I don't like the ones that have empty pictures on them for you to color in. I think that looks like an open coloring book. I do however, love the ones above. In this case less is more creative. My friend took it a step farther and said she would set it up under her tree and decorate it for Christmas with lights and a small tree - sounds like something out of a J. Crew or Gap ad!
