It happens three times a year in the Metro Detroit area. The Utica Antique Market is something I look forward to all year. Not only does it make my pulse race to sift through all the vintage treasures, but there is nothing better than waking up really early on a Saturday morning with a crisp walk, warm coffee and my creative juices flowing. (Honestly, I don't mind going in the rain either). This time of year I've got three things I'll be keeping my eye out for, 70's deco jewelry, bright colored, mercury glass Christmas ornaments and colorful china. Even though those are the things I'm hoping to find, the market is always such a bag of surprises. I never know what I'm going to find, a great end table, mirror or a great table cloth or piece of art. It's like Christmas morning for me! It could be great for you too - check back in the next day or two to check out my treasures and what's new on Conversation Pieces.
