April Fool's Day

I love this "sponge cake" prank from Family Fun Magazine!  Invite friends to cut into your cake only to find it's made of real sponges!  Of course, have a real cake waiting in the wings as to not upset your guests.

Another good one is the Meatloaf Cupcakes with Potato Frosting, however nothing with meatloaf will get a warm welcome from my boys.

We're planning two pranks for my husband.  The first is an individual potato chip bag, emptied, filled with carrots and carefully resealed.


The second is the classic Dirt Pudding Desert prank with Oreo Cookie "dirt".  I know the boys will love pretending to eat the dirt for Steve's sake.

Recipe for Dirt Pudding

7" pot

1 bag of Oreos crushed

1 pkg. cream cheese

1 stick of butter

1/2 cup powdered sugar

(beat until thick)

2 pkg of instant pudding

3 1/2 cups of milk

(beat until thick)

Blend in 12 oz. cool whip - blend everything

Foil bottom of pot and layer cream mixture and cookies ending with cookies on top!
