That's how I felt when I had this feeling to stop at Re-Store. For those of you who don't know what Re-Store is you should definitely stop in or at least make it your donation spot. It's the Habitat for Humanity store and all the proceeds are donated to the cause. You can donate or purchase anything there from extra cans of paint to appliances or furniture. When I stopped in the other day I found three gems. The first is a chair that was almost perfect, as is. I'd been looking for some vintage coral pink velvet so this chair was really a find. I sprayed and washed the cushion fabric within an inch of it's life, I used some wood glue to reinforce some loose joints and finally, I outlined the wood indentations with some gold paint. I use it with my new gold desk that I redid for $48 - the chair was $20, so I'm all set for under $70.
